Edmundo built his AI credentials before AI became a marketing department — at the seam where applied research meets heavy industry. He is the Founder and CEO of Kauel Inc., a pioneering AI and computer vision company building applied AI for the energy, mobility, and industrial sectors. Before Kauel, he built his career at Endesa (Enel) and Sony Electronics, alongside research and teaching posts across Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, and the U.S., with additional studies at Stanford, UC San Diego, and the University of Chicago. He holds a Master's from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María and a PhD from Universidad de Deusto.
